Villar still richest senator, Trillanes poorest


(Updated 7:48 p.m.) With a net worth of more than P700 million, real estate magnate and defeated presidential bet Senator Manuel Villar Jr. remains the Philippine Senate’s richest member. Senator Antonio Trillanes IV also remained the poorest senator with almost P4 million, based on the Statement of Assets and Liabilities and Net Worth (SALN) they submitted to the Senate.
